Once upon a time, there was a pair of cats living on the roof of a house who found it very difficult to find food. This couple always dreamed of having kittens, but because their situation was not good, they were afraid that if the female cat gave birth, they wouldn’t be able to take care of all seven kittens at once. Therefore, they were always cautious.
One day, they became determined that they absolutely wanted to have babies. They decided they would figure out how to care for their kittens after they were born. So, their decision was set. A month passed, and the mother cat’s belly began to grow. The time for birth was approaching. The father cat was busy gathering non-perishable items to store food for the winter when the kittens would arrive. However, as the time for the kittens’ birth drew closer, the weather worsened, and it became increasingly difficult to find food. The father became very anxious.
When the mother cat started giving birth, she struggled because instead of seven, she gave birth to eight kittens. The father had only prepared for seven, and he was terrified of how they would care for all eight. After the kittens were born, the father took the eighth kitten and left it in an empty lot. The little one waited there alone to be adopted. Just then, another cat came and took it away. The cat that adopted the kitten was wealthy and raised it as her own.
Years went by, and when this cat was on her deathbed, she revealed the truth to the little cat. Since she had no other kittens, she left her entire house and food reserves to the little one—enough food for three people that would last a full 34 years. After the little cat’s adoptive mother passed away, she decided to search for her real family.
While she was sitting at home, two elderly cats passed by, begging at her door. She invited them in, fed them, and agreed to provide them with supplies. As they began to talk about the past, it turned out that the elderly couple were the little cat’s real parents. The little cat then began to live happily ever after with her mother and father.
